Being the only .22LR bolt-action takedown rifle available on the market, the Owyhee Takedown Rifle is perfect for backpacking, hunting, plinking, and target shooting. Also, when used as a host for our suppressors , the Owyhee Takedown makes for an incredibly quiet rifle.

Design:

Unique design and quality craftsmanship set it apart from the rest.  Machined from billet 6061-T6 certified aluminum with hard-anodize coating, the Owyhee’s materials and finish ensure durability. With its collapsible construction, packing this rifle around is effortless. The Owyhee Takedown Rifle weighs only 3.9 lbs, making it one of the lightest takedown rifles available.

The modified Magpul® X-22 Backpacker™ Stock features an innovative design tailored for compact storage and enhanced packability, ideal for outdoor adventures.

Receiver:

The Owyhee Rifle’s receiver is designed to be robust and consistent. Machined from billet 6061-T6 certified aluminum with hard-anodize coating, the proprietary bolt-action design, with short-lift bolt and extended magazine release make operating the rifle very intuitive. The twist-lock mechanism with adjustment ring helps to increase rifle rigidity for tighter shot groupings.
