Boris was pursuing one of his hobbies—refining and modifying his rifles for hunting and precision shooting. Around 2007, he identified a persistent need in the shooting world: the ability to consistently and accurately apply torque to firearm fasteners. Precision torque is essential to achieving consistent firearm performance, and the tools available at the time were either prohibitively expensive or inadequately built for serious use.
