The MG762SSAL/RE is a perfect muzzle device to several US Army and USMC bolt action rifles, and what the clone builder and legacy suppressor user needs.  This model is perfect, for example for an M40A6 USMC Scout Sniper Rifle / Precision Rifle build

This muzzle device is excellent as a stand-alone muzzle brake, but also serves double duty as an attachment point for a Surefire quick detachable (QD) sound suppressor. It greatly diffuses side muzzle blast, as well as controlling upward/sideways movement. It features exacting tolerances for minimal shift in zero, regardless of the number of times a suppressor is attached/detached. Its high resistance to heat ensures years of reliable use.

FEATURES

Reign Over Recoil. The MB762SSAL/RE enables attachment of FA762SS suppressors to Armalite AR-10 and to other 7.62mm (.308 cal.) semi-auto or bolt-action rifles with 5/8-24 muzzle threads. Due to its overlap design, the first 2.75" of the barrel (measured from muzzle back) must be clear of obstructions and no more than .775" in diameter. This adapter functions alone as a high-performance muzzle brake when the suppressor is removed.

Note:  This brake is not compatible with Surefire SOCOM generation suppressors. This is a legacy brake compatible with the "Fast Attach" family of suppressors in .30 cal configurations.
