ECHO CHASSIS

KRG proudly introduces the Echo Chassis for Tikka T3. Our first Tikka chassis specifically developed to be compatible with both short and long action cartridges. The Echo maintains the superior ergonomics of our popular Bravo chassis while further refining it with a thinner forend and fewer parts. The result is a streamlined lightweight chassis ideal for long range hunting and general-purpose use.

The Echo features a reinforced polymer unibody that feels great in the hand while limiting heat/cold transfer when conditions get harsh. Since this chassis is all about keeping things simple, it’s set up to take lighter profile barrels, requires no bedding, and allows you to use one chassis for both short and long action cartridges. So, whether you’re looking to bring our exceptional ergonomics to your factory Tikka, or you just want a solid platform on your next hunt, the KRG Echo Chassis will deliver the superior performance you've come to expect from KRG.

SPECS

Forend:

• The Echo ships with the wide barrel channel insert, which fits up to a “varmint” barrel contour. This channel is 0.95″ at the end of the forend (~10.75″ from the front of the receiver).
• A “Narrow” barrel channel insert is available separately for lighter contour barrels and measures 0.85″ at the end of the forend.
• Polymer for light weight and to eliminate heat transfer to/from the shooter’s hand.
• Mounting holes at various positions will take Sling swivels, L2 Picatinny rails, and future attachments.(Ships with front and rear sling studs installed)
• Mlok slots in sides of the forend for universal accessories mounting

Backbone:

• A 9.5″ aluminum backbone fully supports the action and requires no bedding.
• Radius bedding system which is CNC’d into aluminum for consistent contact between action and chassis.
• Hardened stainless steel recoil lug instead of aluminum ones found on stock T3’s.
• Designed to accept factory Tikka T3 Polymer magazines for both long and short action cartridges.

Cheekpiece:

• Infinitely adjustable within range (~1” travel).
• Can be quickly removed and re-installed, uses a clamp and screw design.
• Made of polymer to limit heat transfer to or away from your face.

Buttstock:

• The body is built from a lightweight reinforced polymer material.
• Mounting points for external QD cup.

Length of Pull (LOP):

• Works with our Length Of Pull (LOP) spacers and hardware.
• LOP is approximately 12.8”. Longer lengths out to 15″+ are possible by adding additional spacers and longer fasteners.

Recoil Pad:

• Premium KRG designed pad that is light, durable, and comfortable to shoot.
• Hole spacing is compatible with other KRG buttpads.

Materials/Finishes:

• Aluminum parts are hard anodized (Type III).
• Nearly all fasteners are stainless steel, some with black oxide coating, some are without.
• Steel parts are salt bath nitrided or stainless steel.
• Forend and buttstock are injection molded reinforced polymer.
