Rifle Micro Comp + Thread Protector

An extremely versatile thread protector for your pistol, rifle, or SBR. Our Rifle Micro Comp is an ideal solution for direct thread suppressor hosts  where standard thread protectors can walk loose.  Our Micro Comp + Thread Protector is designed to be short, lightweight, and 100% functional as both a compensator and thread protector. The backbore and radial porting create “neutral bias” compensation when fired. The deep precision cut threads and a high temp o-ring hold the device securely in place through endless hot/cold cycles (no crush washers needed). The taper machined groves on the outside diameter provide tons of grip for toolless removal and installation. Note that this is NOT a flash hider; in order for us to achieve both compensation force and provide some backpressure for short gas guns, we do have geometry machined inside of the Rifle Micro Comp to create muzzle pressure, which typically means muzzle flash.

Our Rifle Micro Comps measure 0.74″ outside diameter, 1.09″ long, and 1/2-28 thread is 0.72″ deep. They are machined from 4140 steel, heat treated, and finished in black nitride.  Weight is just 0.93 oz (for reference an A2 spec flash hider weighs 2.20 oz)
