CZ Bren 2 Optimized Gas Regulator Assembly

We are proud to offer a direct replacement 3-position gas regulator for the CZ Bren 2S and MS. Our Optimized Gas Regulator Assembly includes both a new Body and Piston, both carefully tuned to provide absolute reliability and consistent ejection in a specific caliber and barrel length. Each Gas Regulator Body features three different gas settings/pressures/positions: low, medium, and high. These three settings operate as follows:

1. Low: Ideal for shooting suppressed, or with extremely high pressure ammunition.
2. Med: Standard operating position, optimized for consistent ejection with commercially available ammunition.
3. High: When you need more gas to operate the action. Possible High setting scenarios include running steel cased ammunition in 5.56 models, running lower pressure ammunition such as subsonic in 7.62×39 models, or cycling extremely dirty actions in any model.

Strategically placed holes in the regulator knob section allow it to be rotated by hand or with a loose 5.56/7.62 round, this facilitates gas setting changes when using extended handguards on 11″ and 14″ Bren 2 models. Our Gas Piston is precisely machined to fit within the Gas Regulator body; we hold the tolerance between these two components at 0.0005″ or less. Our Gas Pistons feature a high performance electroless nickel coating which not only reduces friction between the Piston and Regulator, it also helps the assembly to shed carbon deposits which in our testing has reduced maintenance by increasing the time between cleaning intervals when compared to the factory components.

NOTE: Our regulators are compatible with all HBI Gen 2 handguards as well as factory/oem handguards. These regulators are not compatible with HBI Gen 1 handguards (10.8″).
