Hunter Magazine

The Hawkins Precision Hunter Magazine is the answer for shooters wanting run magazines in their hunting rifles without sacrificing COAL in their rounds. These flush magazines are specifically designed to be used in our Hunter DBM and give hunters additional magazine space for longer bullets/calibers. Their flush design also will not snag on branches or brush, and make it easy to load and unload rifles quickly.

Short Action:

• Made specifically for the Hawkins Precision Hunter DBMs

• Short Action Standard (~2.880″)/Extended (~2.980″) cartridge magazine holds 4 rounds. Will not work with 22-250

• Short Action Standard Extended cartridge magazine holds 4 rounds (~2.980″ Internal Length)

• Short Action Magnum cartridge magazine holds 3 rounds (~2.980″ Internal Length)

• Short Action 223 REM holds 5 rounds (~2.500″ Internal Length)

• Short Action ARC/Grendel holds 4 rounds (~2.500″ Internal Length)

• Tikka SA Hunter DBM – Use REV C. or higher Hawkins Hunter Magazines (308/6.5CM Extended & 6.5 PRC/SAUM)

Medium Action:

• MED Magnum Magazine holds 3 rounds (~ 3.210″ Internal Length) Lone Peak, Stiller, Zermatt & Defiance XM+

• 3.5 MED Magnum holds 3 rounds (~3.400″ Internal length) Impact Precision Medium, BAT Vesper M, Defiance UM MD XL and Tikka Hunter DBM.

• 3.5 MED Standard holds 4 rounds (~3.400″ Internal length) Impact Precision Medium, BAT Vesper M, Defiance UM MD XL and Tikka Hunter DBM.

Long Action

• Long Action Magnum magazines hold 3 rounds (~3.770″ internal length)

• Long Action Belted Magnum magazines hold 3 rounds (~3.770″ internal length)

• Long Action 284 WIN/6.5-284 magazines hold 3 rounds (~3.770″ internal length)

• Long Action Standard (30-06/280AI) magazines hold 4 rounds (~3.770″ internal length)

• Long Action Norma/Lapua Magnum magazines hold 3 rounds (~3.770″ internal length)

Note – Users may need to contact a gunsmith to run the short action 2.980″ magazines for proper feeding. These magazines do not feature a binder plate and your action may need machine work to prevent bullets from catching below the feed ramp. This is mostly just for Remington 700s and not custom actions.
