ESD PADDED SLING

After years of badgering, Edgar and the team decided to create a padded version of the best rifle sling on the market. Sharing the same iconic front section as its unpadded cousin, our Padded Rifle Sling maintains key features of the standard ESD Rifle Sling, like the pull tab and super smooth quick-adjust system, while adding a 0.25” thick pad for extra comfort. The pad can be adjusted fore and aft on the sling to fit any body or rifle setup and features a soft outer layer without any uncomfortable stitching or seams to rub on your neck. Excess webbing can be tucked away neatly, and a laminate loop provides a place to clip a carabiner for tripod shooting.

One key feature that is best demonstrated in the video below is the weight displacement feature integrated into the pad. Most companies will have one-inch webbing sewn into the sling. The problem with this is the padding will collapse around the webbing and won’t displace along the full width of the pad. What we did differently was remove the webbing core and orient multiple layers of Cordura in their strongest pull direction. What this does is transfer the weight of your rifle into the full width of the pad so that you have maximum displacement. In layman’s terms, think of a sling with the webbing sewn in through the pad as your head going onto a pillow, the pillow compresses where your head is and folds up around your head just like the padding does on a sling. Our system properly displaces all weight across your body so you get 100% displacement across the two-inch width of the pad.
