The most popular contour in our stock model selection, Criterion Hybrid contour AR-15 barrels offer an ideal mid-weight balance for those seeking extreme accuracywithout the added weightofa heavier profile. An indent is machined opposite the gas port to enable easy alignment and installation. All models have an M4 barrel extension and are threaded for 1/2×28 muzzle devices. Chambers are finished, butbarrels should be headspacedand installed by a qualified gunsmith.
These barrels are currently in service with the US Army Marksmanship Unit Action Shooting Team (1518S-HY12) and the US Marine Corps Combat Shooting Team (1516S-HY8-N).
