The Para Military® 2 Salt® expresses Spyderco’s incredibly popular Para Military 2 model in an ultra-corrosion-resistant format worthy of inclusion in our Salt® Series—knives specifically designed for use in and around the water. These elite expressions of the Para Military 2 boast full-flat-ground blades crafted from CPM® MagnaCut®—a state-of-the-art particle metallurgy steel that offers an exceptional balance of edge retention, toughness, and superior corrosion resistance. Their PlainEdge™ blades are paired with handles featuring G-10 scales and nested stainless steel liners. The skeletonized liners form the foundation of their ultra-reliable Compression Lock® mechanisms, while fully configurable four-position pocket clips provide a choice of left or right-side, tip-up or tip-down carry.  

The all-black Para Military 2 Salt cloaks its blade in a stealthy Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating. Its scales are both peel-ply-textured and machined with Spyderco’s signature Caribbean Bi-Directional Texture™ pattern for an ultra-secure grip. Like its DLC-coated blade, this knife’s liners, reversible four-position pocket clip, and all other hardware are also made from ultra-corrosion-resistant materials and have non-reflective black coatings.  

For higher visibility, the Para Military 2 Salt is also available with a satin-finished blade and two-toned G-10 scales featuring a black and yellow Caribbean Bi-Directional Texture­™ pattern. Its handle hardware is also crafted from ultra-corrosion-resistant, marine-grade materials enhanced by black coatings.
